Whole-boat rates in 2027 start around US$2,000 per night for a classic phinisi, US$5,000–10,000 for premium phinisi and motor yachts, and US$15,000 upward for superyachts. Rates cover crew, chef, meals, fuel, tenders and marine-park permits on most vessels. Divided across 8–12 guests over 7 nights, that works out between US$250 and US$1,500 per person per night.

October to April is the prime charter window, when the north-west monsoon leaves the Dampier Strait, Wayag and Misool with calm seas and the clearest water. November to March brings peak manta-ray activity at cleaning stations. July and August can be rough in the south, so mid-year charters usually stay within the sheltered central islands around Waigeo and Gam.

Nearly all charters board in Sorong, West Papua, a short drive from Domine Eduard Osok Airport, which connects through Jakarta, Makassar and Bali. Some itineraries board at Waisai on Waigeo after a two-hour ferry. Your vessel, crew and marine-park entry cards are ready on arrival, and most routes reach the first anchorage in the Dampier Strait within three to four hours of departure.

Every guest needs a Raja Ampat Marine Park entry card, an environmental services fee valid for the calendar year, plus vessel cruising permits held by the operator.
